KARL admitted to the New European Bauhaus Network

(Belgium, 2026) KA EUROPE SPRL, the Belgian registered entity of KA Research Labs (KARL), has been admitted as an official partner of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) Network. The NEB is a European Commission initiative establishing a creative and interdisciplinary platform at the intersection of art, culture, science, and technology, in direct support of the European Green Deal. The initiative is structured around three core values — sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusion — and is designed to advance the transition toward circular, climate-neutral, and socially cohesive built environments across Europe and its partner nations.

KARL’s admission to the NEB Network extends the Institute’s European institutional engagement and is consistent with its long-standing work on social cohesion, governance reform, and community-level research programs within the European Union and its neighbourhood.

About The New European Bauhaus

The New European Bauhaus is a policy and funding initiative of the European Commission. It seeks to ensure that the green transition is not only a technical and economic undertaking, but also a cultural and human experience — one that connects designers, researchers, policymakers, and communities to shape the future of shared spaces (countries, cities, neighbourhoods, communities, buildings). The initiative bridges the worlds of art and culture on one side, and science and technology on the other, fostering collaboration between those who develop ideas and those who implement them.
